LECTURES AND WORKSHOPS

Lectures include a slide show, trunk show and demonstrations. Workshops use one of Malia's original design patterns. The patterns are not included in the cost of the workshop. Those participating the workshops will be given a supply list with a picture of the quilt. Patterns can be purchased at the workshop. No prior purchase of the pattern for the workshop will be allowed.

Lectures...(max. 1 hour)..........................................................................$150 SMALL CLASSES: (max. 10 students) $10 per person per day PLUS cost of pattern

One day Workshops*...(max. 7 hours).........................................$350

Two day workshops*...(max. 14 hours)....................................................$650

* If the location of the lecture/ workshop requires Malia to be there in the evening and is more than one hour driving time from Ellenton, Florida, the guild will be required to make and pay for hotel accomodations. A gas expense of .30 cents per mile round trip with a proof of mileage verification. If it is required to fly to location the guild will be responsilbe for air fare/coach- round trip(from Tampa Int. or Sarasota/Bradenton Airports), car rental or transportation to and from the hotel and where the meetings will be held as well as hotel accomodations paid by the guild.
